Tiny, my parents health issues began when I was 15 and for 25 years I was their caregiver. It just seemed that one was always sick. Cancer, Heart, Stroke. I held both their hands while they died, took care of them in our home. Mom passed in 04 and dad in 08 and sadly I had to make the calls to end their suffering as POA as the other was too ill to do so.

It's not something that I would wish anyone have to do.

I held my mom's hand as she passed away last year. I could never imagine leaving her there to pass on without me holding her. It was a similar situation with a tough call. She was on life support with a head injury.
