Movie suggestions?

Your pics aren't showing up Bosco...

Inside Man and Heat are both excellent movies though... :great:

I suspect they are linked to a site that won't allow hotlinks...

They may show up in your window because they are loaded in your browser's cache... You found them and linked them from a site that doesn't allow hot links. But since they are already loaded into your browser's history- they still show up... but they won't in anyone else's because they weren't pre-loaded into OUR browsers...

That's why you need to use a pic host like Imgur...

Only way I could see what it was you were posting was to "fake reply" and choose "edit" mode so I could see the link url...

Keep them coming though... I'm getting some good ideas too! :)

:great:

Well, I just watched The Big Hit...and Heist...

The Big Hit is garbage.... I rate it a poor 3/10

The Heist... interesting movie, pretty typical double-cross/triple cross scenario... I rate it 7/10

Now I'm gonna watch Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, while the five most recent additiona are downloading...

Thanks

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.... if I could understand half of what they are saying it might bring it up to a 5... all the actors spoke a think cockney accent...

Can't be bothered... I give it a 3/10

Now I'm gonna try After The Sunset

Salma Hayek looks amazingly good in this film... The female cop is good too...

I enjoyed this film...

Yeah, this film is ok, but only because of the women. Keep hoping Selma would show a bit more.. but she's pretty hot anyhow...

I rate 6/10 and +.5 for Selma 6.5/10

Well, I just finished watching "The Town"... starring and directed by Ben Afleck

Excellent movie

9/10

1 - Nine Queens (brilliance on every level)

2 - Asphalt Jungle (small, significant role for a very young Marilyn Monroe)

3 - Le Cercle Rouge (huge influence on many directors, particularly John Woo)

4 - Dog Day Afternoon (Vintage Pacino and the great John Cazale)

5 - Topkapi (Eurocool Oscar Winner with an awesome cast)

for pure fun: 'How To Steal a Million' with Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'toole

Thanks Amy.. I have them all downloading right now..

And, the reason I don't have that on my list, is because I don't have you running my life!! :) Is that a good or bad thing? :)

Thanks again.

You're welcome Danolo. Considering what you thought of some of my suggestions after watching them, I think it's probably a good thing lol :)

Which one? The original with Steve McQeen...

Or the remake with Pierce Brosnan...

Whereas both are very good, I'd have to give the edge to Steve... :great:

(Faye Dunaway is in both...)

I watched the Pierce Brosnan one... did n't realize there was one with Steve McQueen... I'll have to look for that one...

In the one I watched, Rene Russo gets seriously naked...

Ya... another remake...

And yes, Rene Russo is seriously hot in that film!

I think I found this one... 1968....

Well, just finished the 1968 original of The Thomas Crown Affair....

I prefer the 1999 version.

The original had a lot of split screen, multi screen shot stuff, dissonant music, and I found that all distracting from the story. Fye Dunaway was elesctric of course, but Steve MsQueen was predictable. But I've never been a fan of his... the only good job he did was in The Great Escape. Maybe my prejudice is affecting me... rumor had it that he was physically abusive to his women.

The only thing that really struck me as excellent in the 1968 version was the opening music - The Windmills Of Your Mind" sung by Noel Harrison.

Danolo you are a couch potato, I LOVE YOU BROTHER!

Watch Stone with Robert DeNiro

and The American with George Clooney

Let me think of some more, the list of suggestions you have so far are pretty good.
