Multiple handles on boards.

I've noticed an influx of handles posting like their lives depend on it on the red board. Whoever bought it sure has brought on new and old handles. It's so obvious I just laugh.

The bullshit board had paying indies as mods and surprise. Madwoman is a mod as hornybitch and half their threads are mods done.

HUBGFE, I am paying attention.

Membership must be slowing down on boards. Why you say?. Your guest is as good as mine.

What is this world coming to?.

ps. the funnest part is when the owner links threads from here. I get a kick out of his insecurity.

I will admit that I have another handle on some other boards but I have not logged into those boards for quite some time!
The one board has sunk to levels that even the most depraved person will find low!
The red board appears to have taken a turn for the worse with the influx of some Blue members an advertisers trying to find a new home with which to spew forth the garbage.
I think Prick has it right just ignore it and stay away maybe it will eventually fade away.

My experience, if you find a board and like it, stay there and forget the rest.......no need to mention the other/s nor compare. Keeping in mind it is a business for some, and some will do *anything* for business

Dan, you rarely post in The Lobby, in a thread I read. This is about something you said, somewhere else in here:

In 2004, some guy on the red board wrote a review of an unknown EE indy as his first post. The punters there immediately called him a shill. I don't know what else he wrote, but he was banned, with 10 total posts.

I saw the same lady two weeks later, and wrote a very balanced review. She became relatively well known and very well reviewed, personally answered guys who wrote about her, attended industry parties, and met her exit strategy in about nine months; she just wanted to pay off her education loans. That's an Industry success story, fostered by a good review by someone with cred, but the guy who TOFTT was crucified, because he contributed immediately, instead of building a post count first.

Some months later, I TOFTT, with someone else, new in town. Let's just say that 'she didn't understand what an hour meant', and leave it at that. I asked her if she wanted a review, and she said 'only if it's good'. When her name came up on boards, in an 'Anyone seen?', I wrote that I had seen her, but 'she had asked to not be reviewed'. Five guys attacked me for saying that.

Eventually, I discretely suggested what I had said above about her. I then got a PM from her 'handler', offering me a 25% discount if I saw her again, and gave a her a good review, after she had been given some 'attitude instruction'. I declined that offer; she was heavier than her photos, and not worth a second visit, in my opinion.

These reviews are probably still posted, but this helps explain why I seldom 'kiss and tell'. Honestly, I rarely read other people's reviews, and only to exclude someone, based on a documented experience or restriction that would likely make my appointment a disappointment. Reading about the sex lives of other guys doesn't interest me in the least.

On other occasions, I'll write a review of a 'veteran' with good rep, that hasn't had a recent review, so guys who want 'vintage fine wine' rather than 'beaujolais' will be aware that so-and-so is still a good choice. The 'I did her, too' reviews are a waste of time, to me. My personal preferences are seldom congruent with the majority opinion, and I tend to get more than average mileage, which I don't want other guys to come to expect, as a given.
