I drive a lot during work and bring my second dog along. Every time I pick up sweets from Tim's he drools in the car seat and just waits for his treats. If I come empty handed, he barks and barks. If I have a paper bag on me he keeps quiet with his ears tucked in waiting to get fed.

Most dogs will consume anything given to them, although some are fussy than others. It's up to owners to make sure what their given is in the best interest of their health. A plain timbit here or there I'm sure wouldn't hurt, keeping in mind their stomachs can't digest well a lot of what we can.
