This review is a long time coming. At Flirt's Christmas party last year (yes, this is how long ago we're talking about!) I had the privilege of getting up on stage with April. As a reward for my efforts (what, that wasn't the reward in and of itself??!) I was given a voucher for a free 45 minute nuru massage.
This was an exciting opportunity. I had had a massage using nuru gel before (more on that soon), but that was on a bed, which doesn't allow the full range of positions the slippery gel makes possible on a real nuru mat. I was looking forward to trying the full nuru experience.

For those not in the know, nuru gel is a colourless, odourless, tasteless clear liquid that is incredibly slippery (moreso than regular massage oil).
