Just left a scathing comment on a young woman's picture on the "Kinky and Popular" page of Fetlife.com that was not very nice. I will own that trigger response despite it's bitchy connotations but I have rather hit the wall with all things fake and contrived. The influx of social media on our lives has created a world and environment that glorifies a beautiful facade and promotes pathological lying as jusification for narcissistic ego stroking.

Add sex and BDSM into the mix and shallow libidinous males with porn addiction click "Like" with lascivious abandon like salivating dogs after a week long fast. Do they really buy this shit? Do they honestly believe the fakery that is blatantly evident?

Or maybe they inherently know, but choose to believe the unbelievable bullshit fantasy sold them for the momentary meaningless thrill that it gives them. No wonder less people are in relationships and porn perusal is gaining in popularity because the reality is far less sexy than the online portrayal.

I do not want the fakery, I want the fucking real thing in all it's messy, dirty and at times bumbling mess. I want to see real people, in a real mess, but experiencing a real moment.... I want to be one of those people. But the narcissism of the competition for "likes" that motivates blatantly false portrayals of events has created a degree of disgust and cynicism in me such that I have started to avoid "Kinky and Popular" on Fetlife.com which should more rightly be described as "Contrived and Manipulated".

Show me your fat asses, your ugly dicks, your pimples and cellulite, your pussy farts and laughter. I want to see you messed up, your makeup running, your hair a matted mess and the real true expression of your pleasure and pain intricately etched in your wrinkled eyes and blotchy face.... for there is the real truth of what sex and lust, and BDSM really is... an experience that is not fake, that is not pretty, that lets you so let go that you are lost to all but the experience and beyond the knowledge of whether your ass looks fat in this position.

Leave that concern to the Kim Kardashian's of this world and the social media narcissists whose fake sex life is clearly better in pictures than it is in person. Personally, I don't want an immortal picturesque document of my sex life or general life for that matter.... I actually want to fucking live and experience it in all it's mess and imperfection for that in the end is what will matter when I am 80 and in a wheelchair and recalling with smug satisfaction what it all meant to me.... But then that is me, the truth teller who would rather wallow in ugly truth than a pretty lie any day of the week.... what about you?

Are you a working girl?.

To some, Marilyn Monroe's look was fake and contrived but most saw her as very beautiful.
Why spoil their fantasy?

I was at various times in the past few years.... Exploring sex work was part of my overall foray into the sex world and my need to experience and understand where my comfort level was and my edges of sexuality lie.

That is a valid point... however I would argue that Marilyn Monroe despite the fact that the overall facade was contrived, the essence of her vulnerability, her borderline behaviour and her labile emotionality was worn on her sleeve and painfully evident: there was no artiface in that .... But she was also an actress portraying roles in which facade was the point. Where I take issue is with "selfie" photos or media portrayed as "real life" or "reality" which is in essence a coldly calculated contrived exercise in narcissism for the express purpose of ego stroking for social media "likes". It is manipulative and a blatant lie. I have no problem with artists who take fantasy photos... even studio pornography in my opinion is a fantasy portrayal and I have no problem with that either... story and fantasy is an important aspect of art and understanding .... they aren't trying to imply the interaction is a reality, it is a story. I guess that is why I dislike "reality TV" as well because it purports to be capturing a real moment when in fact it is far from that, as scripted, planned and manipulated as a written storyline for film or television. Just be honest....

But aside from that, there is a disservice served when the vast majority of promoted media on a fetish website are blatantly contrived images as it portrays an unrealistic ideal of what is involved in this play... In the end it's personal preference I guess... my preference is for finding sexy and beauty in real moments with real people....

The men I have fallen in love with and the men who have created the most astounding and arousing erotic experiences for me have all been less than physically perfect specimens from a physique standpoint, but my chemistry with them and consequently how turned on I was by them and their (in most cases) "dad bods" was so incredible that although I can appreciate a man with a buff body, from an esthetic standpoint, their perfect physique will not necessarily corelate to a stellar sexual experience. I have fucked enough "hot" looking firemen to have figured that one out.... Once I pull the curtain back on the Wizard of Oz and realize that there is no substance behind the pretty facade,.... well then I'm done and turned off. "Don't talk, Honey.... you 're ruining the moment." :wink2:

Oh geez, I don't stand a chance then but I promise, ride me like a bucking bronko and I won't talk, not a word.

The Madman and the Crazy Cowgirl... I'm sure it would be one hell of a ride. ;)
