The Internet is no stranger to NASA conspiracy theories.
Most of them are so out of left field, they're impossible to ignore. The latest is no exception.
A well respected astronomer, Paul Cox, is saying there are actually two suns. He claims the only reason everyone doesn't know this is because NASA is covering it up.
During a live broadcast on Slooh, Cox provided a feed of his telescope looking into space.
He points to a black dot, which is actually Mercury, but he claims this isn't the case. Instead, he believes it is much smaller version of the sun in our solar system.
Cox also mentioned the infamous Planet X theory, which says that a broken planet will pop out from behind the sun and crash into the earth to kill everyone.
Realistically, it wouldn't make sense for NASA to hide these "findings," since it would spark funding for further research.
Although another theory will probably come out, conveniently explaining how they benefit from all of this as well.
