NASA detained a 75-year-old woman selling a tiny moon rock

Deal sealed, just waiting on how much she will get.

One awful detail from the 2011 incident: The agents refused Davis’ request to use the bathroom, and she urinated in her pants during the two-hour ordeal at the restaurant in Lake Elsinore, Calif. Agents also forcibly restrained her second husband, who had accompanied her to the supposed sale.

I find it difficult to believe that the wife of a NASA engineer was unaware of the legal issues surrounding the ownership/sale of moon rocks.

However, the actions of law enforcement do seem extreme. I suspect that in a few years, her financial troubles will be over.

Why the hell would all lunar material be illegal for any of us to own. If I want to fly to the moon and bring back a rock it's my business!:biggrin2:

I hope she sues the pants off of them and wins large, I'm sick and tired of authorities taking advantage and degrading people instead of using common sense.
