Amy of you folks know of a good place to find chat? I used to chat all the time on IRC...

I'm not looking for a cam chat with some "model", just a ordinary chat room..

If anybody ever wants to chat with someone, add them to your friends list so they show up on the IM chat. You can't have group chats with that one though.

At first I thought you were referring to the bartender ...

It's really sad that group chats have been disabled on most review boards due to them being abused by trolls. Chat rooms are difficult to moderate, as they're available 24/7. Some chats allow the chat history to be viewed hours later by others who enter the room, so if people are outed or malicious comments are made, they can do a lot of damage before they're removed.

On the first board I joined 5 years ago (cerf), I spent several hours in group chat most evenings, and it was some of the best fun I ever had online. We became like an industry support group and helped a lot of people get through a lot of tough times.

Thankfully, the entirety of HUBGFE is warm and friendly and I can say that HUBGFE has empowered me to do many things I never would have accomplished on my own.

I got addicted to chat years ago, before the internet, with multi line BBS's. (Bulletin Board Systems)... but you are too young to remember those.

Memories...I ran one of the first BBS systems back in the mid 80s, based in Ottawa. Ran it on a Z80. Coded the damn thing myself in C.
