Veronica, the owner of the ALO group, told me that they have bought out the old Triple-A spa, located above the Playmate strip club. This is now their newest east-end location. For now, they are going to be calling it ALO North-East.

Their previous east-end location on St-Laurent had also been closed down a couple of weeks back, and they will open up a new location somewhere else along St-Laurent or nearby, maybe by this week. I'm guessing it's going to be the location of where Blue Ivy is now, since the ownership of that spa has messed up its reputation badly, just like the owners of Triple-A had. But I could be wrong, we'll see by the end of the week, maybe.

Nothing yet about their St-Laurent digs, but it looks like Triple-A will continue to be called Triple-A, as well as ALO North-East. So either name is valid.

In effort to due away with Triple-A's bad reputation, do you think it would be an advantage to rebrand as ALO??

I don't know, I thought it might, but then again, Triple-A is a well-known name in the Ottawa market, so it's easy to find. Triple-A's bad reputation may be mitigated once locals find out that it's now part of the ALO group.
