New Feature for posting picture lovers!

Hello Everyone,

There were few questions about "how to post picture" in Tech Forum. I have added new feature to our board that I think I will solve the picture posting problems and questions.

Here how it works: ( This will work for pictures in your computer)

Posting New Thread and Repling to existing thread with picture

Click on Post New Thread button (if you are posting new thread)




Click on Reply to Thread (If you are repling to existing thread)




Scroll down and find Imageshack option. Click on browse and find the picture you want to upload.




After you found the picture you wanted to upload. Click on Host it.




This will take you to Imageshack site where your picture is hosted and you can get the link from there.




Now, you have the link for your picture and you can post that link in your posts. How to post that link in your thread and/or reply explained in this thread

Not a big fan of bolts actually- look great in that bikini... but naked? Kinda silly IMHO..

This works as well for web based photo's.posted in the random pic thread already.

You can use the "Insert Image from URL" option of the pop up box.



You have to remember to "Un check" the little box beside "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" first. Once you do that you paste in the addy to the image you wish to post and viola it will auto be bigger and posted directly in the thread rather than thumbnailed.

True... unless the pic is hosted on a site that won't allow hotlinks... in which case it will either show blank or with some error message.
