I recall read several months back there have been a few accidents with these vehicles, all involving parked cars.
They were no injury accidents so they were not played up in the media.

In this situation they are accepting some blame but accessing part of the liability to "OTHER DRIVERS"
Failure to control your vehicle places you at fault not other people.

I see these as a bad idea under the best conditions.
