I don't mind the airmiles, my wife got a trip to Venice a few years back with airmiles... but I agree totally about donations.

If I donate I want a tax receipt so I can claim it. What bothers me is if I give to a company as a donation, do they get to claim the amount as a tax donation? I don't know... but I know for sure, they take credit for the donation in PR and stuff.

and on top of it all, the donation doesn't go toward the intended needy. Instead it goes towards the administration pr greedy people.
