Olivia Wise — the terminally ill teen who captured the world’s heart with a viral video of her singing Katy Perry’s Roar — died Monday afternoon.
Family member Jeff Kassel informed the Toronto Sun of the sad news in an e-mail.
“She died peacefully in her home surrounded by the love of her family,” he wrote.
Kassel also thanked the media for “helping to generate so many positive comments and well-wishers” and raising awareness of Wise’s charitable work at the Liv Wise Fund.

Very sad news, Olivia will never feel pain and will be amongst other angels. Katy Perry had sent her a message thanking her for choosing "Roar" as her the song to record.​

I have a feeling her charity will be getting more financial support now.

The Family was on Anderson Cooper 360. Her (Roar) recording has more than 2 million hits on you tube. Her mother and sister were on Cooper's show and handled themselves wonderfully after such a loss. They talked about her strength throughout the illness.
