censorship is never a good thing

when the poewer thast be choose our words out thoughts become someone elses

I completely disagree. It is not censorship, it is precaution.

Please explain why you need the "C" word available for use?

Just so I can understand you need for it. I can explain my need not to hear it, or see it or be called. Can you please provide the same to the opposite side you have on this word. Thanks

the same reason we need the words boy, woman, for sale for rent, pimp ect.....

Precaution? Impressive! Using different vocabulary to mask the true meaning of censorship.

All it means it that when it is used disrespectfully, the originator will get clever with the letter structure to avoid the filters.

I will have to agree to disagree with the OP.

and I accept your right to disagree.

my warnings of censorship are based on slippery slopes not an accumulation of consents and vowels.

The real issue is not the word itself, but the attitude of the person using it. Sometimes people should be banned, rather than words.

Used as a pejorative, the C-word is offensive, but it can also be used in a loving, worshipful context, as is so often the case in the poetry of Leonard Cohen:

My leash is too long
I think that I´m free
I´d leap at the young
but I´m sixty-three

I know what I want
It took many lives
I´m cured by the c unt
I´m killed by the eyes

Cohen used it respectfully there, so he didn't have to resort to clever letter structure like I did to avoid censorship. Read Beautiful Losers sometime. Cohen adores c unt.

So do I.

Papa, in the USA there is censorship.....
You really can not express your true feelings about people
in the papers because you will be sued.....If you all a black person the N word
or Gays...and go around putting them down you can be charge for Hatred....
You have to file with the cities if you want to protest...you can not just do it...

Books are being censored like Tom Sawyer....etc......

Here in Canada you are not allowed to be seen drinking on live TV....
No smoke Ads.....

There is ....all this for the C word....

Once you ban your first word, the next word becomes easier to ban and on it goes.
Don't ban the word, ban the offensive person.

Well played / said Mr. Mann

I understand what Femme is saying. When I hear it in conversation it's one of the few words that feels like nails on a chalkboard to me. I usually tell the person that the word is disrespectful and go on about my day.

I don't recall ever seeing the word used on the board but I'm sure it has been.

Bridgette, would it offend you if during the throws of lustful pleasure, I told you that I loved yours?

I understand what you're playing at. I would find it more of an awkward compliment I would say.
