Ontario’s ‘Sunshine List’ has more than 111,400 names

The number of Ontario government employees pulling down six-figure salaries has topped 100,000 for the first time ever, despite the government’s promises to tighten its belt in the face of a massive deficit.
The annual “Sunshine List” of provincial workers earning more than $100,000 in 2014, released Friday, showed more than 111,400 names, an increase of more than 14 per cent from the previous year.
