A curious black bear took a liking to a kayak in Alaska recently and part of the encounter was caught on video.

Mary Maley was on a solo kayaking trip from Ketchikan, Alaska to Petersburg, Alaska, when she encountered the bear in Berg Bay. She had just carried her tent and food up to the cabin on the shore to dry when she heard a noise behind her.
