I love women, I grew up with 4 sisters and hearing about the raped girl in India that lead to her death outraged and made me sick to my stomach. So I felt compelled to make a donation to . I made a $17 donation that bought a girl 3 baby chicks, it's not much but a little goes a long way. You can too. Please make a difference for less fortunate girls. :BigHug:

Kind of Ironic I know, in an industry that can exploit women. I once saw this porn website ALS Scan claim to have made donations to children's charities.

Sorry to burst your bubble but MOST charities are really scams. The vast majority of the donated money goes to operating the charity, not to the people who are supposed to be helped by the charity. I cite the salvation army and the stolen toy story that broke right before christmas where the guy in charge of the toy warehouse was making $150K a year.....

First thing I'd do before donating anything is to find out how much of the donated money goes towards the charity, and how much goes to administer the charity.

A good example of these scams are the acrylic boxes you see by the cashier at most stores these days. There was a story last year about how someone had the boxes made, put it up by the cash in all shoppers drug mart, came a couple times a week to empty it and was never associated with the charity. I mean, I could easily make up a bunch of these things and put them everywhere. I could clear a couple of hundred a week easy.
