Over cooked buttercup squash, how to fix?

Does anyone know if you can fix over cooked squash? I can't find much online and over cooked a squash I paid almost 7$ for so I'd hate to throw it out.

Mash it, put in pan under the broiler with marshmallows on top, like they do with sweet potatoes.

Turn it into soup, it's very easy to make. And the more cooked it is the easier it will be to make.

I agree a little chicken stock some seasoning toss it into a blender you got soup even ad some cream
