Man Shoots Teenage Neighbor Nine Times For Laughing at Him
On Friday, police say an Indiana man shot his 13-year-old neighbor nine times for laughing at his misfortune, killing the boy.
According to WGN-TV, the unnamed Gary, Indiana man had "just been released" from jail when he returned home to find his house had been robbed. Going door to door for information on the burglary, the suspect reportedly got into an argument with 13-year-old Kobe Jones.
"I was told that my son was laughing and the guy shot him dead," , Kaunda Jones. "He was an outgoing, sports-playing young man, very funny."
The man and his girlfriend allegedly fled the scene after the shooting, but both are now in police custody.
