The whole world went nuts last night.

All that violence in Paris, my neighbours behind us had a huge screaming fight cause one guy was setting off huge fireworks right beside the other guys house at 1am, and my other neighbours were fighting so bad I thought I was gonna have to call the cops and report domestic violence.

One blew himself up outside the stadium while the other at a nearby McDonalds, killing one bystander.[/h]

It just so much in the news lately. And I don't really want to hear the political views on it all. I heard in a news story last night that the Islamic State makes $40 million dollars A MONTH on oil fields that they control. How is that possible? Who are they selling this oil to and why can that not be stopped?

I heard a lot of smart guys over the week-end and the past day or so talking about "what its going to take to stop ISIS". they (ISIS) have around 20,000 to 30,000 members around the globe (estimated), which is pretty low when you talk in terms of an organization that is turning on all of these world powers. They are certainly no Mussolini or Hitler. But when it comes to war strategy against an opponent, isn't one of the first things that you do is cut off its supplies? In this case the unbelievably huge amounts of money that it takes for a bunch of 20 year old guys to get weapons, fake documents, bombs, travel expenses, incredible amounts of weapons, etc.

And why is it that the French started bombing ISIS strongholds this week-end? Why are there any left? We've been bombing these guys for months and months now, why would there be any obvious strongholds left to bomb? And why are they targeting cities they "might" be in and not the oil fields that are generating $40 million dollars a month in cash flow?

[h=1]2 dead, 7 arrested in police raid targeting suspected Paris attacks mastermind[/h]SAINT-DENIS, FRANCE—French President François Hollande praised the composure of the residents of a Paris suburb after heavily-armed police searching for suspects of Friday’s attacks launched an operation there that left two people dead.

A woman wearing an explosive suicide vest blew herself up on Wednesday as police tried to storm a Saint-Denis apartment where the suspect was thought to be holed up, police said.

They said one man was also killed and seven people arrested in the standoff, which began before dawn and continued for more than seven hours, with gunfire and large bangs sporadically ringing out near the apartment building in Saint-Denis.

Government spokesman Stephane Le Foll said just before noon (6 a.m. EST) that “the operation is over.” The fate of the suspected attacks planner, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was unclear.

Police said a security perimeter around the building remained in place.

“France is proud to have at its disposal (security) forces that can protect their co-citizens,” Hollande said in a speech to French mayors at 7:15 a.m. EST on Wednesday.

“These actions confirm once again that we are at war,” Hollande said.

The closed-circuit TV footage, released by the U.K. newspaper The Daily Mail on Thursday, begins with patrons sitting inside and outside a Paris pizzeria and employees chatting near a cash register.

Four seconds later, debris flies in front of the camera and customers run inside from the terrace or dive for cover under tables and behind the bar. Several people run downstairs.

A gunman can be seen in the top left-hand corner of the video, carrying what looks like a rifle.
