You have a point but I think most people can agree on what is at least semi decent behavior in public places. Some things are just plain disgusting and others are inoffensive. You can always find people that are exceptions though.

This is why we see people show up at upscale, black tie events, weddings and funerals, or high end restaurants dressed like dumpster divers. The have no comprehension of, or respect for, how their behaviors affect others. They're nothing more than greedy, self-centered, me-first individuals. The expression 'There is a time and place for everything...' means nothing to them, and they have never learned what is commonly perceived by the majority of their peers as appropriate behaviour when interacting with others in a public social setting based on situational context.

Most people who show an absence of class do so through their behaviours in social situational contexts. This is really not a hard concept to comprehend. You see it in living color each and every day.

Having or not having class has nothing to do with your actual social standing. It has everything to do with how you behave in certain circumstances. That is what THIS thread is about.
