I'm sure this information is readily available somewhere obvious, but what is the largest picture size that can be posted on HUBGFE (600 by 800 for example)?

Thanks,

Effie

I don't think size is an issue but I could be wrong. I post all size pics and the only time I noticed an issue was with the avatar selection.

Images posted in threads will be autoscaled Effie. I don't think there is a limit. Are you having trouble posting an image?

Yeah, when I was posting the picture in my ad, I had to shrink it with a program I downloaded. I'm having new photos done and was planning on having her make a set that were already the right rize, but I can't find where it says what that size is. On another board the size is 600 x 800, so I thought maybe it would be the same here.

It is the same here

600x800 has been used by all SP. PM if you have issues.

Oceanus.

Oceanus, I know I have posted pictures larger than the 800x600 format.
Does the forum auto scale the images to this size if they are larger than the 800x600 size? Or does this limit pertain to images that are uploaded instead of being linked to?

980 x 649

I don't think there is a limit if you're simply linking a picture from an outside site. However, if you're storing to the local server, then I guess the limit is the 600x800 as mentioned before.

Correct. Uploading to the server is different than just linking to an image.

Will be installing a plugin so that when a larger picture is uploaded it scales it down. That may help some of the confusion.

This place has great customer service.
