Plumber is charging me $35 for truck fee PER hour.

Tried Google and couldn't find much. Who dictates what to charge and is he ripping me off?.

Charged me $270 for the hour (3) plus labor. Looks like whatever they make is 100% profit.


Back to the truck fee. Need assist on this one before I call him.

Most service companies have a truck fee.

Normally it would be a site or start up charge.
with that said I never heard of a building per hour charge for it.

Next time you call him tell the company you will pick the plumber up so as to avoid the fee.

Most of all trade jobs are doing it. Try calling another one and ask for hidden fees before he does the job.

I wouldn't go back to him if if he didn't warn you about the extra fee.
