In a Trumpesque style Szydlo's law and justice party has vowed to make "Poland great again", by banning Muslim migrants from African and Middle eastern countries.
In Poland there are actually people who seek out and accost those they think are Muslims. These Muslims are terrorized, bullied and warned not to approach or interact with any "white" people. Islamophobia is on the rise and with the encouragement of some governments, it's no surprise. We all remember the horrors of the Hitler eras and all the racial and religious mythologies and ideologies spread by him and his Nazi party, which began as early as 1918 and rose to it's height of power in the 30's, when in 1935 they introduced the Nuremberg racial laws, which made it illegal for Germans to have any interactions, especially sexually, or thru marriage, with Jews, Romani's or Slav's. How is what is going on now with Islam and Muslims much different?
We all know that all Muslims aren't terrorists and that Islam isn't responsible for killing people, people are responsible and these people like to twist religion and ideologies of their religion into something it doesn't represent, to circumvent aspects of it to make *some* believe their extreme views. Never is all or nothing a solution. Every country has a responsibility to accept their share of immigrants and should want to. Hopefully the European commission will come down hard on Poland for blocking Muslims from entering their country. It is time we all realize that Muslim doesn't equal Terrorist, nor does belonging to a specific religion make you one.

The problem is all this vile terrorist attacks are coming from fanatical fringes of the Islam religion. We don't see Islamic leaders standing up and screaming for these want to be terrorists to step down and it's wrong.

I agree with the ban, let them tear up the middle east and get the hell off our soil.

Our, is North America. I'm sorry but they've done enough damage in public killing and injuring innocent folks. If it saves one group of people, I'm all for sending them back to their country of origin and if they were born here, put them in jail as they do to Christians in Muslim states.

I didn't feel this way last year but the latest events unfolding have opened my eyes.

The London Bridge attack, the Kabul suicide bombing, the slaughter of Christians in Egypt and the attack by ISIS in the Philippines last week, as well as the Melbourne and Paris attacks on Tuesday, are all based on sharia Islamic law. All were carried out my Muslims inspired by the Qur'an.

Here is one of the many verses in the Qur'an invoked by jihadi terrorists. It is from chapter eight entitled 'The Spoils of War.'

Qur'an 8:12 - 'I am with you, so strengthen those who will have believed [Muslims]. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved [non-Muslims], so strike [them] upon the necks and strike them from every fingertip.'

When confronted by critics to explain this call for beheading of non-Muslims, Islamists and their apologists say this verse was revealed for a specific battle at a specific time during the life of Prophet Muhammad and is no longer applicable.

However, the same Islamist clerics then return to their mosques to preach the same verse as part of Muslim prayers.

In the words of Prime Minister Theresa May: 'Enough is enough.'

Be truthful, O Muslims, before it is too late.

I'm sure you could bubble up many isolated 'feel good' stories of Nazis in death camps 'doing the right thing' at critical moments too, even when overall it was far too little, far too late. In the end, it was the ideology of National Socialism (Nazism) that was declared by the free countries of the world to be fundamentally evil, and as such was eventually banned.

I suspect this is the ultimate direction the west will follow where the ideology, or belief system, of Islam is concerned.

You are right Hook, *those* mass shootings were carried out by individuals committing individual acts, but there have been many and their acts are as harmful and deadly. My point was, although those acts are often driven by one or a small few, they're still acts directed towards innocents and by those driven by some cause. Christianity obviously has a lot of fanatical followers too who wish to incite violence, kill innocent people and twist ideologies to justify their anger. Whether isis is comprised of thousands and spreading, individual acts can amount to the same numbers and cause the same violence and spread hate likewise.
