Mitch McConnell contracted Polio as a child before there was a vaccine. He was lucky enough that he was close to the newly formed charity that was started by Frank D Roosevelt called National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis.

The NFIP is known today as "The March of Dimes". Mitch McConnell would be confined to a wheel chair and most likely be dead by now if it wasn't for the work the March of Dimes did back then and what they continue to do today.Recently, while the Senate was hiding behind closed doors figuring out how to screw people out of health care the March of Dimes and a few other charities asked to meet with him to try to discus why federal funding is so important to these kind of programs.

Surely the guy who owes his ability to walk and breathe today might have a bit of concern about people with special needs such as he had early in his own life, but that was not the case.

Mitch McConnell, wouldn't meet with them and claimed he was too busy.. Not too busy to meet with lobbyist but too busy to meet with groups who actually do work for the people of this country.

I always knew this guy was a piece of shit, but never realized how much of a scumbag he actually was.

As long as he can walk it's all ok, but fuck everyone else. What a selfish fucking bastard.

My job requires me to do a lot of travel. Recent travels have included London, Lisbon, and Paris.
Yesterday my job took me to hot and humid city of Kingston where I met with a colleague. Afterwards I decided to take a detour on the way home and stop in at the famous black sea port of Odessa.
