It wasn't Peta!! and if you read the article it appears they had cause to take the dog. Sorry to say, some homeless do use dogs to get more money when pan handling and don't properly care for them or even love them, I've seen it myself, so if the group had cause to take the dog then I'm glad they did. Perhaps it wasn't the best way to do it, but.....none of us know the whole story nor will we.

Indeed. I know several homeless who use a dog simply as a draw to attract money, but I also know a few who love their dog and make sure they get fed better than they do. Like anything, you get both extremes. I know several dog owners who shold be banned from ever owning a pet, and they are rich.
