Question for the ladies - who is (or was) your favourite duo partner?

I'm not really asking for recommendations about current duos, I'm more curious about couplings you've had that really clicked. Of course, feel free to include our dearly retired friends as well. That said, if you really get on (and off) with your current duo partner, I'd love to hear why.
