Stop editing your score! :)

Well I played again and I got higher - why would I leave the old score? I want to show everyone how smart I am! ;-) LOL

Hate to burst your bubble Chloe, but the more you play doesn't necessarily make you any smarter... since the questions have a tendency to repeat themselves on a random basis, just means your getting better at remembering the answers. :he:

Only the first score matters....

For sure I have hit repeat questions, but by and large they were ones I knew the answer to anyway.

There are game skills that are relevant to trivia, multiple choice and various types of puzzles. And PRACTICE does alter brain chemistry.

Excellent work done by this company:

And there are countless other scientific studies in recent years confirming that the human brain can be strengthened much like a muscle and everything from Sudoku to crossword puzzles and more esoteric games can help ameliorate
brain trauma, Altzheimers, senility etc.

Good for you!

Yes, I'm very much aware of that. Noir said to post our highest scores - I only played about 10 (maybe 12, lol) times...while I did get some repeat questions, I didn't really get all that many. And most of the ones that were repeats, I had gotten correct the first time anyway so it didn't make much of a difference. However, I was probably a bit quicker which does boost your score with the time bonus admittedly. I'm not the only one in this thread who posted scores beyond the first try.

Understood. Wasn't so much criticizing, as noting an observation. :he:

I disagree with you on this one, it is a game, how many times have you played a game only once then put it away or left.

This game for me is just a little challenge every now and then when i have the time in front of the computer...i would rather indulge others with this then wanting to know what type of porn you are into...no offense to those threads.

Some of these scores posted will have me devoting a little more time...I am coming after you CC:na:

All noted, and yes it is a game, but your title suggests otherwise. "How smart are you?"

Its been awhile since I was in school, but I don't ever recall the curriculum allowing students to take tests over and over again to try and better their marks. :na: :)

That's alright....no harm done.

It does seem to get easier the more you play...partly because of some repeat questions but also partly because of practice. Once you get the hang of it you can answer faster. It's not a real measure of IQ by any means - too random. One game you can get easy questions and then the next get tougher ones. And knowing trivia doesn't say much about a person's intelligence. I say that despite the fact that I'm a huge trivia junkie, LOL. Also if someone is a bad speller or a slow typer (fortunately I'm neither) some of the questions they could get wrong despite knowing the answer.
