???

The old days I used to get mad or seek revenge. Or will dwell on them and will hold a grudge. No I just let it slide and figure it is part of life.

How do you guys handle it now that you are older. or is there still those that cannot shake it off?.

Experience
is what you get
when you don't get
what you wanted.

Anger and guilt are two of the most wasted emotions. Forgiveness is what sets those things free. Forgiveness is the greatest gift.

I know whereof I speak.

Life's journey takes place one day at a time, one step at a time, one foot in front of the other.

Adversity may occur, setbacks happen, the unexpected disappoints, but nothing changes. It's still one foot in front of the other, one step at a time.

If I knew all of this when i was younger it would have saved me a lot of hassles. Experience is the key just don't make the same mistake twice.

I know a few guys that old age has done nothing good for them. They still are jerks who blame others for their setbacks.

Well, being self employed I run into quite a few setbacks...now? I just say "wtf" and carry on....nothing I can do about it.

Shit happens.

I hit a rough patch when a customer was dragging their ass paying for me (they decided at the last minute the agreed to terms didn't apply). I was so short I was counting loonies out of my change jar. I went to my mail box and whoop, there's a rebate cheque I forgot I applied for, $70.00 in my pocket. It carryed me for the 10 days until the customer paid up.

Then I realized, over the years whenever anything looked grim, something always happened to get me back on the upswing. I learned that as long as you keep plugging away, usually things work out so not to get upset about it.......

Now there are some things I WILL not abide by: someone callling me a liar, or disrespecting me, or insulting my intelligence (seriously, not jokingly). You do any of those and you've got a BIG problem on your hands.....

Then on the other hand there are those like me at times in my youth who assumed and expected it to happen. I would get all high and tell my friends what was about to happen. Then it didn't.

Moral of the story is STFU until it happens.

Soak the problem with gasoline, toss a lit match and then move on. :he:

Can't reall add too much to this thread. Most has been said already.

Someone said 'Try This- Watch this- Do this' and when you do it was "MEH"

I tried to get into it but the Walking dead is a bore for me.

Don't worry ... I promise I'll pull out of your mouth before I cum.

cold coffee

I call it 'the dreaded last sip I shouldn't have taken' whenever I know the coffee in my travel mug is a couple hours old, but I'm thinking the last sip might still be warm enough to enjoy ...
