So who is working today?. No wonder there wasn't any traffic on the highways this morning.

liquor stores closed til noon, no mail delivery and the government offices are closed. Most everything is biz as usual.

I think this is one thing the schools are still getting right. In a time when so many of our old "traditions" (I'm sure there is a better word for this)are falling to an atmosphere of political correctness, it seems the school is still able to instill some level of appreciation and respect in students for the sacrifices made by their elders.

Touching ceremony, and I am saddened a bit each year to see fewer and fewer of the veterans able to attend our ceremony.
