Road rage questions.

The pick up truck intentionally paced the rig to not let the camaro pass and go on his way. The pick up truck driver started it but the camaro will face the long arm of the law.

Check the beginning of the video where the Camaro tried to drive into the pick up

In Ontario, both will be blamed. But realistically the pick up driver was driving on a faster lane but the driver was going as slow as a turtle. Be courteous, go to your right slower lane and allow other drivers to pass by. Yet today's society, it's all about me me and what have you done so far for me.

So The pick up driver was being a smart ass but he or she did follow the law accordingly. The camero driver wasn't patient but understandably annoyed by this pick up driver's sarcastic attitude. Nevertheless the camero driver should have waited and waited and then inevitably this driver would pass by. Now all three drivers are wounded by not being patient nor courteous with each other which is needed when driving on the roads.

Just curious what happened after the stupid crash.....if they avoid being badly wounded, I can't imagine them being polite by exchanging insurance information.

Did did not. He was trying to pass and the truck accelerated on purpose because no one taught him courtesy.

Camaro was driving aggressively passing on the shoulder is pretty much so illegal in all cases.

Driver of the camaro then drove into the front end of the pick up, intentionally.
Camaro driver should be charged with reckless endangerment as well as multiple vehicle and traffic infractions.

Shoot them both in the head for being assholes and clear up some more room on the roads for people like me who know how to drive.

Every single day on my commute I see both types of drivers....the aggressive idiots who just cannot wait and the jerkoffs who feel they should correct other peoples behavior by being smartasses. You all know that even if the day comes that cars drive themselves, there will still be people out there who will hack the programming or invent some method for making their vehicles get through traffic first.

I will hack mine to set off low-jacks in a 500 foot radius when needed.

The truck driver has/had a chip on his shoulder. He didn't want to let him pass, why????? Only he can answer that.

Yes, the camaro was wrong for trying to run the pickup off the road.

And the pickup was wrong for not passing in the passing lane. Since that appeared to be an interstate most states have laws on the books that require slower vehicles to move to the right.

Would be interesting to see how that all played out in court. The truck can claim that the camaro instigated a road rage incident by trying to hit him. The camarao can claim that enough time had passed that the truck's failure to follow the law in yielding the right of way was the instigation for the road rage incident.

Since this was NY

Art 25 SS 1120(b)
In addition, upon all roadways, any vehicle proceeding at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing shall be driven in the right-hand lane then available for traffic, or as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway, except when overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction or when preparing for a left turn at an intersection or into a private road or driveway.

So yes, the camaro is going to get tickets, but if he has a good lawyer he could force the truck into a ticket based on video evidence and use that as a civil defense for an instigated issue.

Follow up.

Camaro driver was unlicensed and drunk.

He's fucked.

According to Batavia, New York, police, the 32-year-old driver of the Camaro, Kiran Thapa, was intoxicated with a 0.19% blood alcohol content.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and first-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Right in my own back yard.

He will likely get 5 years with a 10 year no license.

0.19% is more than twice the limit of 0.08%
