Serious Question: How often do you get a STI,STD test?

Used to get annual blood work done, including STI and STD related panel, before hobbying.

Now that I'm in this world, I wonder how often one should get checked up. Maybe quarterly? Hmmmmmm
Or should one consider number of partners instead, ie. every 6-8 partners, to get a test?

To be safe for myself and the potential SPs I'll see, got myself tested before jumping into the hobby. Clean bill of health. I also recently got tested as well.

Nope because you can pick up something and not be aware you have it until its too late. When I'm in a monogamous relationship, the needs lessen but if I'm out having fun with different ladies then hell yeah I'm getting checked frequently.

HOw do you know that as the test isnt foolproofed. You may have the virus but it never shows up. 70% of the populaion who have had sex transmitted this virus and some of them just dont know it.
