How do you feel when one tells you he or she is a born again virgin? Then again, if it makes him or her happy, go for it. Yet in my mind, you are not a virgin anymore.
Now if someone likes Madman comes along and says I am a born again virgin, I would assume he hasn't been lucky for awhile.
I think there are a lot of guys here who are 'involuntarily celibate', but that's only because they have no game, they're personally uninteresting, they don't want to do another dude, and they pass on the 'ice cream aisle'. Instead, they read about other guys having sex, watch porn, and rub one out, to relieve internal pressure, and flush the older sperm out. Younger sperm swim faster; the older ones have to use a scooter, because they're too fat from pork rinds eaten.
I think we have less intelligent people today than 35 years ago, in part because of in vitro fertilization. In the natural course of life, reproductive sex is like a marathon race, with millions of entrants, and one crosses the finish line first. Only the champion gets to fertilize the egg, and the others just mill around the outside, like people who didn't get tickets for a sold out show. With in vitro fertilization, you get pot luck; one of the sperm who gets sucked up by the eye dropper or the turkey baster gets the assignment, regardless of how fast he can swim.
I'm not suggesting that every guy has only one potential champion in each load of jism, but when you pick one randomly, instead of by competition, you're going to have a higher percentage of 'also rans' in the mix. This is a big reason why men have traditionally been very competitive, until very recently. There's no silver and bronze medal for being the second and third fastest sperm, except in cases of multiple eggs being present.
This is why you get a lot of multiple births from in vitro fertilization. Several fertilized eggs are often implanted at artificial conception, with the hope that one will survive. Sometimes a few do, and they're often born prematurely, because one uterus isn't big enough for more than three to full term, most of the time, and two is often a tight fit.
With 'natural selection', in order for a woman to become a mother, she needed to be fertile, and someone had to be sufficiently interested to want to go in bareback, when doing the deed, so nature 'weeded out' the males and females with whom no one wanted to have procreative sex. Now, all you need is a health card, and the taxpayer foots the bill. Women can have babies, even if no one wants to fuck them.
Some would see that as good for the individuals, but bad for the species, as a whole. We all know people who produced children, who probably shouldn't have, for one reason or another. Under current law, being reproductive is pretty much a right, where previously it had very much been a privilege. Certainly in any society in which slavery existed, policies of eugenics practiced through selective breeding were the norm. Maybe on guy in ten from Asia is descended from the grandfather of Genghis Khan, because he and all of his male relatives conquered most of Asia, killed most of the men, and raped most of the women.
That's a bad thing, from a moral perspective, but beneficial to certain individuals, from a biological point of view. Natural selection is inherently amoral; the most successful individuals, in term of descendants, are also the most promiscuous men from history. That's not opinion, that's fact. If a cave man was monogamous, and his mate was infertile, he has no surviving ancestors. If a guy was a successful soldier, who traveled far, and raped frequently, he may have millions of people today carrying his genes. Nature doesn't care about fidelity. Nature selects against it.
There's a reason why a dairy farm has one bull, and all the male calves born are sold for veal. the only reason why those calves are born is because the heifers wouldn't give any milk if they didn't have calves. We could have a whole lot fewer bovines belching methane into the atmosphere, if people didn't like to drink milk, eat cheese, and eat beef. Any vegan who eats cheese or drinks milk is a hypocrite, because you can't have the ones, with the others, unless you want to drink goat milk. I don't think many people people drink pig milk, because of what pigs eat. I wouldn't, unless I was on
Survivor, or
Fear Factor. I wouldn't do it for a dare, that's for sure.
