It should be stated that the roman catholic church has sexually abused more children than any other organization throughout all of history. And they have been doing it on a daily basis for over 1,000 years. There is even reason to suggest that the pope himself engages in these vile acts.

Every single time abuse victims come forward and accuse the catholic church, it gets swiftly covered up. I guess that they, the Vatican hierarchy, see themselves as being above the law.

I'd have to say (an educated guess based on research) that throughout it's ancient history, the roman catholic church has probably abused literally tens of millions of children. And if you read into them, their crimes and atrocities extend to things FAR worse than child sexual abuse. These things include genocide, collaborating with the Nazis during WW2, direct complicity in the holocaust, secret control of entire governments, alleged involvement with satanic worship, and a myriad of .

Believe me, there is no other organization on Earth that is more demonic than the catholic church.​

Members of the church hierarchy have argued that media coverage has been excessive.[SUP][6][/SUP] In response to the widening scandal, Pope John Paul II emphasized the spiritual nature of the offenses.

He declared in 2001 that "a sin against theSixth Commandment of the Decalogue by a cleric with a minor under 18 years of age is to be considered a grave sin, or delictum gravius."[SUP][7][/SUP]

With the approval of the Vatican, the hierarchy of the church in the United States said that it instituted reforms to prevent future abuse including requiring background checks for Church employees and volunteers, while opposing extensions of the statutes of limitations in sex abuse cases.[SUP][8]

Nice to see that the Pope has declared it ...ahem...wrong....but that still doesn't excuse the coverups.......anyone caught abusing minors ought to be thrown in jail with the regulars..priest, or no priest.......

One of the many reasons I abhor organized religions of any sort.
