Rob Ford has to face the Public and the Press...
He can not hide from the Public but he is sure hiding from some of the Press...
If he has a problem with Alcohol and Drugs he should not be running for anything
until he can deal with both the Public and All the Press....This is not a Normal Job...

Conservative talk radio is attempting to rip the teacher apart for exercising his right to free speech and question a politician! I say good for him and if he ever decides to give up teaching he should throw his hat in the ring for public office.

TORONTO - Mayor Rob Ford’s staff called the cops on shirtless protesters Tuesday.
Dan Jacobs, the mayor’s chief of staff, called Toronto Police alleging he was assaulted when the protesters crashed the mayor’s Tuesday morning press conference on Eglinton Ave. W. John Furr — the shirtless protester — denies Jacobs claim.
Officers showed up at the event after receiving a call for an assault but no charges have been laid.
“Police were called once I was shoved and elbowed aside after asking a member of the public to please step onto the sidewalk to maintain safety and allow free flow of traffic,” Jacobs told the Sun Tuesday.
The handful of protesters that greeted Ford were part of the “shirtless horde,” a protest group formed after Joe Killoran — a Toronto teacher — confronted Ford at the East York Canada Day parade. Killoran was out for a jog without his shirt on when he spotted Ford and demanded to know why he refuses to answer questions about several controversies swirling around his mayoralty.
Furr, organizer of the “shirtless horde” protest, alleged Jacobs grabbed his shoulder when he stood behind the mayor and held up his sign that read: “You like being mayor? Then be accountable!”
“I stepped up beside him and he pushes his elbow into me and shoves me and he says I elbowed him,” Furr said. “He bumps into me and says I elbowed him.”
Furr, 52, was surprised Jacobs called the cops over the incident and accused him “trying to stop me from having my right to free speech.”
“He called 911 and they sent an officer over and the officer looked and then as he’s watching, members of the mayor’s campaign staff came up and kicked me in the leg,” he said. “And the police officer saw him do that and removed him. And then afterwards he spoke to Dan and talked to Dan about Dan saying ‘I want to press charges against that guy.’ And he counselled him that if you do, well I would charge him back and they would arrest the member of Rob Ford’s staff.”
Ford shrugged off the protesters who shouted throughout his announcement.
“They can protest all they want, all I’m doing is saving taxpayers’ money, keeping traffic flowing — that is what the taxpayers want in this city,” Ford said.
“It’s alright, that’s fine, it’s fine.”
