Three women are in hospital — two in critical condition — after they were wounded in a shooting at a strip club in Brampton early Wednesday, police say.
Police were called to The Office Gentlemen's Club on Melanie Drive at about 1:30 a.m. ET after reports that multiple shots were fired inside the club.
All three women were taken to Brampton Civic Hospital. Two are listed in critical but stable condition. A third victim is expected to be released from hospital on Wednesday.
Const. George Tudos of the Peel Regional Police told CBC News it's not known if the victims were employees of the club.
He said some club patrons were leaving as police arrived on the scene.
“There may have been witnesses that left, we’d like them to come forward," said Tud
