Heard on the radio how it has become a huge cash grab by governments in North America racking in 2 billion dollars per year. What is your take on it?.

Won't happen. How else are they going to find millions to waste on bad management deals?.

For most of its history, Germany’s highway system has thrived without any speed regulations. Today, 33% of the highway has speed limits. However, studies have shown that introducing speed limits hasn’t resulted in fewer accidents. People don’t need the government to tell them to drive responsibly.

I drive quite often on highways. The general speed limit is between 120-125 when there isn't traffic and find it is safe enough to increase it to 120.

Then that will mean that trucks can then go 125 k instead than 105 k.

No way Jose.

Raise it to 120 kilometers then most will be going over 150. Does your car get impounded then?.

The graduated system should be graduated further.
If you pass further testing of experience and ability, then you can drive 120.
Lanes should be graduated according to licensing.
Make having a license a continually upgrading process.
