Men with larger testicles tend to be less involved fathers than those with smaller testes, a new study suggests. The findings, detailed today (Sept. 9) in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, are correlational, so they can't say exactly why the trend exists but only that there is a link.

What I want to know is who thought to do this study, why they thought it was of value and who did the measuring?

Hmmmm....I have smaller gonies...and I'm trying to be a good dad.

Biologically speaking...it could have to do with the selection of mates in human evolution. If women chose mates based on the size of the scrotum of the male, then large balled males would get to reproduce more often. By having their choice, they may not stick around. A small testicled male, might want to help the woman out with her offspring as a way to get to mate. Just a thought (plus I got to use a lot of terms for balls).

I think they choose some of us based on the size of our wallets. I get way more interest in the online dating when I put in a six figure income in the profile than when I say "I prefer not to say".

I have a large scrotum but I don't have any kids so I can't really say. How would they do this test and would they have asked fathers to show their nuts or would they just take their word for it?
