....a Mint Condition, Vintage Deluxe Star Wars Millennium Falcon for Xmas. She's 'totally into Star Wars' she says. 'Gotta have one Dad!' she says. Hints and hints for weeks about it. Shows up at the very top of the wish list to Santa. I find a private collector in Kentucky who has one he'll part with in return for my left nut and one nite of fun with my wife.
Xmas day arrives, and she's THRILLED! Over the Moon, crazy happy. Of course, I'm super happy she's happy, and as a guy's guy, I think the toy is super cool too!
Later in the day, I'm sitting on the couch, watching and listening to her playing with it on the living room floor totally oblivious to everyone around her.
As she plays, she 'pretend walks' the Han Solo and Chewbacca action figures side by side across the carpet away from the spaceship, and I hear her say in her adorable little make believe voice: "C'mon Chewie, let's go shopping. We'll have some time to kill 'cause Barbie is coming over later to fix the Falcon, and she'll expect us to make her dinner!"
