You don't need a license to get a dog, you just have to get one for it after you have it. You know, so they can identify who's responsible if it bites someone, and keep track of who's not getting their dogs vaccinated against rabies.

If I had kids I'd do what I did to my dog.
Tattoo him and put an electronic tag on him.

There is a legal limit in every city of how many cats they are allowed to have and they should be liscenced in Toronto many cats owners don't in Hamilton the limit is 2 and Toronto the limit is 6.
