Soldier surprises kids with visit home at New Egypt Speedway

Nice surprise.

Sgt. John Grimes hadn't seen his two kids for six months. He arranged to have a special ride along in the two seater at New Egypt Speedway. The crowd heard a "famous race car driver" was getting a ride around the track. Several names were drawn to meet and greet this famous driver, who ended up being Sgt. John Grimes' children and friend. When he took his helmet off, unknown to the crowd or his children, Grimes received a wonderful welcome back to New Jersey.
