Yes...when I said 10 times that usually implies more than once.

In their defense it was their first time as parents and they couldn't grasp the concept of of imposing preconceived notions or roles onto me.

Me too. I skipped grade 4, then took grade 10 classes in grade 9, grade 10 in 11, etc., so many times I was 2 or 3 years younger than my oldest classmates.

... and I was a late bloomer.

Even worse. I was one of those kids who had to walk 2 miles to school every morning, 3 miles home for lunch, 4 miles back, then 5 miles home for dinner.

I was in a Police 'lineup' once, but not as the suspect.

I was playing pinball in an arcade near the Montreal Forum, in 1980. A cop from Station 10 came up to me and said they had a suspect in custody who was approximately six feet tall, and had blonde hair. He asked me if I was interested in being in the lineup. I said sure.

They drove to another arcade, and another guy who looked nothing like me, but met the same general description, joined me in the back seat. The cop who asked me changed into his street clothes at the station, and he was in the lineup as well, in addition to the suspect, (we knew which one he was, because he was asked next to whom he wanted to stand), and two other guys somebody else must have found somewhere else.

The whole thing lasted about two minutes, once we got to the station. I'd do that for Montreal cops, but not for the dick suckers in Toronto.
