I sometimes get texts from my regulars - "Hey babe, whatcha doin'?....Can I come over?" Of course if I'm out or busy, the reply is usually yes but at a certain time. I usually get an OK.

My time is very scheduled. I'm busy with my children and other projects with friends and work. So I take a lot of care when I'm hosting. House is clean. Bedroom is set with ambiance. Supplies at the ready. Candles. Her favourite refreshments and or snacks. A gift if I have time to get one. Then a no show. This has happened far too often lately and quite frankly, I'm fucking sick of it.

When they finally reach back out to me after the communication blackout, they give me their excuse/reason. What am I to say? It could be real, it could be lame. I've been saying that I'm getting sick of this and being disappointed. "Sorry". Fine but don't let it happen again, especially with a cut to the communication when I'm trying to reach you and see why you haven't showed up. Despite being a little pissed, I'm worried that something could have happened to them.

The regular list is being culled at this time.

Should I charge them a cancellation fee?

Being stood up with no communication is one of the rudest, most hurtful things I've had happen to me. It blows my mind every time a client does it. Takes me back to being stood up on a couple dates when I was younger.

If it's a trusted regular who ends up giving me a good reason why they didn't contact me to cancel I probably give them a second chance, if someone new or I've met once does it, you're on my blacklist forever.

She must be awfully good in bed if you keep seeing her. :wink2:

Three are guilty and I don't contact them anymore because of 2+ offences. They probably realize that they've fucked up large and that's why they're contacting me. I won't even book them through their respective agencies.

And yes, the lack of communication leading up to the appointment is extremely rude and disrespectful. My time is just as important to yours. I was not the one to make this appointment...

I think it's the opposite, I'm that good in bed :wink2:

I think this type of behavior also hurts other SP's because clients begin to assume that all SP's are flaky, and then double book, feel like they too can cancel at the last minute or no call no show. Unfortunately this isn't the only industry where people now think this is okay to do, I run into it in my other business as well and it drives me nuts because time isn't something I can get back.

If we all had DeLorean time machines, this would not be an issue. Time is very precious, whether you're doing nothing but relaxing or doing something "productive". This world is much too busy for time wasters.

Case in point, the angel I met the other night is someone off of backpage but also an agency lady (I found out post coital talk). She deals with time wasters all the time. She is my first BP session in almost a year and probably one of the best. I can't say that I wasn't nervous but I needed to build the regular database back up after culling it. As nervous as I was, I was not going to cancel as my word is just as important to myself as is the appointment to her and because of this, she is #1.

It's rude and there is no excuse, if there is no excuse. Many people are selfish and think of themselves only and what will benefit them at the time. Thankfully I don't get stood up very often once or twice a year, but all the other nonsense makes up for that, lol. I'd not allow the person another opportunity to do it again, but that is up to you how you handle yours. Remember we teach people how they can treat us:) Thanks for the cute puppy video, btw:)

I don't often do outcalls, but I've had Lady's No-Show at they're in call location.
Very frustrating, especially when it's a long drive to get there. One girl was just starting to be a regular, drive to Oakville to see her, and no answer. She never did give me an excuse, so I've never contacted again.
Last weekend, a semi-regular girl flaked the 2nd time, so never again. I let it go the first time after she promised to 'make it up to me'. There is no making it up. I had to get ready and travel and still pay full price for the 'make up' session.
"I Passed out" is not an excuse. It's a warning.
Never again.
Fortunately, I'm finding some new girls :)

I guess in their eyes "There's another sucker lined up, so buhbye"

I don't reward bad behaviour.

Only had one no show.
I was having a bad week at work and decided, fuck it, I amnm taking a me day.
Booked a lady I see regularly a day or two ahead for a 5pm appt.
She was a little over two hours away so I decide to make a day of it. Go to the garage, uncover the convertable and take the lakefront scenic route with a few stops on the way.
Get to the location a little early then hang out in Tim's parking lot
Until it is time to text. I could see the hotel from the parking lot.Time comes, send text. No reply. Send a few more texts over the next two hours to no avail. I am both worried sick and very hurt and angry.
Hit the highway. I am 45 min from home when I get the OMG I am so sorry I slept in texts. She seemed really sorry.
Get back on the highway driving angry and I promptly get pulled over for speeding. Crap.
Got home parked in the driveway so I could wash the car before putting it away again.
A few days later I go into the garage and notice, no car. It had been stolen from my driveway. Crap.
A bad couple of weeks. Car still missing. :(
Of course I forgave the lady and have seen her several times since. Still get a little angry about the car though.

After sitting in a Tim's parking lot for almost three hours on a hot summer night I felt like a loser and was angry for at least a week. She was wuite apologetic when I saw her again. No regrets going back to her though, I always enjoy myself.
With that one missed appointment she has been 94.445 percent reliable.
A better percentage than many businesses.

@Beached - you certainly have a lot of patience and forgiveness. I call the 15 minute rule and I'm out. I've rarely driven that distance for an appointment and I don't think I would.

My regular and I of a few years ago, got off to a rocky start. She asked me to meet her in the morning and I drove to the incall where she was staying and I texted her before I left and when I got there. It was met with silence. I invoked the 15 minute rule and went back home. It was no big deal as it was about 20 minutes. I did get a text from her around noon and she told me that she had a late night and that she didn't wake up. She still wanted to get together but had to be on shift for 4pm. I told her there wasn't enough time for what we had planned so we skipped that but made up for it later in the weeks to come when our schedules matched up. I ended up seeing her off the clock and personally for a year. She more than made up for it.

Yeah I am a chump. Waited the 15 miniutes, said ok 5 more. Waited 5 and said ok 5 more. If I did not already have several good visits in with her I would have bailed much earlier.

I am glad I don't have to deal with them anymore. Happy camper here with a new SO.

An SP should never call or initiate the contact first with the client. The client should be doing it first. I had that happen to me too where an SP asked me when I was going to see her and then I blocked her and said I did not want to see her ever again. SP's should never contact clients first, it should be the other way around.
