Peel Regional Police have identified the region’s fourth homicide of the year as Ming-Chien (Theresa) Hsin, 59, of Mississauga.

Hsin was found dead in her car, in the Hurontario St.-Burnhamthorpe Rd. area, last Friday afternoon. Homicide detectives were called in after the woman was found to have suffered “obvious signs of trauma.”

While an autopsy was conducted, Const. Thomas Ruttan said Monday that investigators will not publicly discuss the results because “that is of an evidentiary nature.”

Hsin, who owned a successful chain of spas around the GTA, was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday near Rathburn Rd. and Hurontario St. — an area where one of her 15 spas is located.

On Thursday, police issued a public appeal for help finding the woman. At the time, they said her disappearance was “out of character.”
In November, Hsin survived a brutal stabbing in the underground garage of her luxury townhouse on Shipp Dr., several hundred metres from where she was found dead.

Her attacker has not been found and the case remains unsolved, police said.

Ruttan could not say if the November attack and Hsin’s murder are linked, but confirmed police are investigating that possibility.

TORONTO - A Toronto man is charged with first-degree murder in the April death of a Mississauga spa owner whose body was found in a BMW.

Ming-Chien (Teresa) Hsin, 59, was discovered dead, with obvious signs of trauma to her body, in her black BMW in early April in Mississauga.
The owner of a chain of spas, Hsin had been reported missing two days before her body was found. At the time, Peel Regional Police had called her disappearance “out of character.”

Months earlier, in November 2014, Hsin had survived a stabbing in the parking garage of her townhouse, an attack that left her hospitalized with serious injuries. No one has been charged in connection with that attack.

On Monday, investigators announced a 21-year-old Toronto man has been charged with Hsin’s death.

“At this point, we are not going to speculate whether the individual arrested and charged in this has any connection to the previous attempt (on Hsin’s life),” Const. Lilly Fitzpatrick said Monday.

Police were not able to reveal whether or not the victim and the accused knew each other.
Fitzpatrick confirmed the investigation is ongoing.

Mark Dookhram has been charged with first-degree murder. He is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing in Brampton court on Tuesday.

Very true but that doesn't stop them from killing prisoners or giving life sentences....so... and animals aren't guilty of anything why should they have to suffer at all!
