Good for Spain, both teams put on a good show. I thought it was going to go to penalty kicks which would have been fun to watch but it would have been a hard way to lose the game.

i went for a walk just after it was finished,
i saw a woping 10 cars honking and waving flags here in niagara

I don't agree. I was a referee in my younger days and while Mr. Webb made a few errors, the Dutch strategy seemed to be to go out and kick, trip and grab to stop Spain playing. Most were clear fouls and unfortunately, most of the yellow cards were justified. It was a risky plan and I was really hoping Holland would play the way they did for most of the tournament. It would have made for a much better game. But they did not and the better team won. In my opinion, it was a victory for football.

PS: I was actually rooting for Holland because they had come close twice before and have produced so many fantastic players in the past.

If the Dutch would've have played their usual style would have made it a better game. It was a slow paced game for most of the time. The ref was whistle happy and no flow at all.

It was an okay game to watch but the anxiety and anticipation was thrilling. Spain dominated. both teams had great chances.
