That is great...

When I was sailing I learnt that with the racing yachts the reason the people
do not wear like vest is one too bothersome and 2 if you fall over board in
a race they can't get back to you....so racer want it to end fast......

I loved West Marine...they loved our money too....:LMAO:

I was trained by a USA Navy Male....he was 65 or older....He was wonderful...I had a laugh at his
life in the Navy.....

We always worn the life vest that inflates in the water....in it had a light, whistle and a knife attached...

On large boats I dont feel the need for PFD's but if I'm in rough weather or racing I wear a self inflating PFD as normal lifejackets are too bulky to be wearing while working.

I apprenticed on a 35 footer for 10 years racing her

Sail or Motor....Have a friend she works on multimillion dollar Yachts....Need to sign a contact
to not disclose who are aboard....

Motor or Sail.... I was taught that if you come on deck you should have
one on....on sailing in rough sea to be tether on....even in one foot waves
it is hard to spot someone....
