Sean Lowe captivated the hearts of the nation when he appeared on Season 17 of the popular reality dating show “The Bachelor” in 2013. A devout Christian and college-football player-turned-insurance salesman from Texas, his down-home charm was a welcome contrast to some of the more sophisticated playboys who’ve been on the show. Lowe, who had previously placed third in the eighth season of “The Bachelorette,” just seemed like a nice guy, but that didn’t mean he didn’t get the girl.

Last January, the 31-year-old married his match from the show, Catherine Giudici, in a live TV special, “Sean and Catherine’s Wedding.” It was an especially important day for the pair, as Lowe had made headlines for being a born-again virgin. He hadn’t had sex since he was 24 and was waiting for marriage.
Lowe shares his story in his new memoir, “For the Right Reasons: America’s Favorite Bachelor on Faith, Love, Marriage, and Why Nice Guys Finish First,” out next week.
The Post talked with Lowe, and he gave us these tips to help nice guys win at love:
[h=3]Date with intention[/h]Lowe advises: “There’s nothing wrong with dating for fun or for the companionship, but when you’re ready to get serious about settling down, take inventory of the ‘non-negotiables’ you have for your future spouse, and ask yourself if the person you’re dating has all of those qualities. If she doesn’t, you’re just wasting your time — and hers.”
[h=3]Don’t be too nice[/h]“The lady you want to date doesn’t want a manservant,” Lowe cautions. “She wants a strong, confident man who will be her rock.”

[h=3]Keep it exciting[/h]“The first couple months of dating are always exciting, but somewhere along the line, things tend to slip into a comfortable routine of sweatpants, TV and takeout. Don’t stop making her feel special,” Lowe says. “Date nights and flowers are crucial.”
[h=3]Be confident in yourself[/h]
“Part of being a man is knowing who you are and what you stand for — and not compromising those convictions under any circumstances. A good woman will not only respect your beliefs, she’ll challenge you to uphold them,” says Lowe. “Don’t be the guy who showers his date with compliments instead of actually having a conversation of substance and depth.”
[h=3]Don’t lose your edge[/h]“Being a nice guy doesn’t mean being dull,” notes Lowe. “While most women want love and security, they still want a guy with enough edge to keep things exciting

They're a really sweet couple, one of the few happy endings resulting from the show.

Why would a MAN have ever been a metrosexual in the first place?

Why would a MAN watch The Bachelor?

OK, that's why, but you don't know her. Why would you care who she's going to bang?

The guy Sean looks like a cross between Ian Ziering from '90210' and Paul Bernardo, pre Kingston pen.

So, Paul Bernardo gets moved to gen pop, and meets his new roommate, "Bubba", 6'4" tall, and 400 pounds. Bubba puts his arm around Paul's neck, and says "So, Paul. I've heard you enjoy anal sex with virgins. We have something in common".
