The folks who work there are some of the best people you never want to meet.

I'd extend that to most hospitals in general. Working the holidays for doctors and nurses is a contradiction in wanting to be with your family, and wanting to help others. Same with police, fire, ambulance, and so on.

My daughter was in Sick Kids NICU. These care givers are some of the most wonderful and blessed people on this earth. I couldn't have made it through her operation without them.
