On winning his first Oscar at the 84th academy awards, this makes the 82 year old legendary Canadian actor the oldest to win an Oscar.

If you saw The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (US version), you'll recognize him as the wealthy elder man who hire the reporter. But he won his oscar for his role in Beginners.

I did manage to catch his awesome live performance "Berrymore" at the Winter Garden theatre.

The man has a classy charisma to him. I am also glad he won.

Dude is a great actor, I especially liked him as the villain in "The Silent Partner".
